Our Story: Meet the Founders and Discover Aasha Academia
Dr. Sharmila Anand (MBBS, MD, M.Phil, MBA, GLHP- Harvard), the founder of Aasha Academia, brings over 20 years of experience in educational leadership and a deep passion for turning students into young leaders. She has trained over 100,000 students from 42 different countries, demonstrating her commitment to global education. She also serves as an International Advisor to leading colleges, universities, and startups, Dr. Anand's vision and expertise extend beyond traditional boundaries. She has been named the top professional in the global classroom by ABC, Fox, NBC and Forbes.
This mother-daughter duo is deeply passionate about empowering students holistically and transforming young kids into young leaders. Ashile's personal journey fuels their mission; as a young student, she struggled academically, faced bullying, and endured ridicule from teachers. Experiencing firsthand how these challenges can diminish a child's confidence, they used the very processes taught at Aasha Academia to turn her grades around, ultimately leading to her admission into a prestigious college. Their dedication to helping students overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential is at the heart of Aasha Academia's programs.

Ashile Sharmila Anand, the co-founder of Aasha Academia, is currently pursuing her undergraduate studies at the London School of Economics. She co-authored the best-selling book "I Miss Understood." An internationally certified trainer and speaker, she has conducted workshops for institutions such as the London School of Economics, AIIMS, Barclays, and leading schools and colleges across India and internationally. Recently awarded the "Inspiring Annette Award" by Rotary.
